Raising the Bar
Lift your leadership, ace time challenges, exceed your expectations!
Overview
This course is suitable for leaders, managers or supervisors who would like to improve their skills, discover how to manage time more effectively and raise the bar.
In the workplace we make assumptions that:
- Everyone knows how to be a leader or manager or supervisor.
- We can all manage our time perfectly.
- We know how to set those big hairy audacious goals.
We forget that is not necessarily so. Together we will share experiences, solutions and questions to help each other make a start on raising the bar, creating effective teams and managing our time effectively.
Taking time to invest in your professional development as a leader, manager or supervisor will pay dividends. Sharing your challenges, ideas, questions will help others learn and grow. Consequently you will benefit from others experiences, ideas and solutions. Together we will design a safe space in which professionally and compassionately we can support ourselves and each other to achieve desired outcomes.
Throughout this F2F workshop, interactive exercises, case studies work individually, in small groups, as a whole ‘team’ and group discussions will engage and challenge participants. The workshop will aim to empower leaders, managers, and supervisors with practical tools and strategies for personal and professional growth, effective time management, building high-performing teams and identify effective leadership strategies.
The day will be highly interactive and practical with breaks incorporated. You will leave with tips, tools & techniques that you can apply immediately. As well as a plan. Remember what you put in is always what you will get out.
We cannot change our past.
We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.
And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.
