TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Common Health Conditions
The purpose of this qualification is to develop learner’s knowledge and understanding of common health conditions and their effects on individuals, it is an ideal qualification for anyone currently working or volunteering in a caring environment, or looking to embark on a career in the health and social care sector.
Learners will enhance their knowledge in a variety of common health conditions and discover how to accurately monitor and record developments. You will learn swift responses to any changes in conditions and an understanding of warning signs and symptoms to effectively treat those in need or requiring help to manage their condition.

Entry requirements
There are no specific entry requirements, however, learners should have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

- Principles of Monitoring the Health of an Individual Infected by Health Conditions
- The Cardiovascular System and Associated Diseases.
- Stroke Awareness
- Arthritis Awareness
- Understand Physical Disability
- Parkinson’s Disease Awareness

All materials are provided for you to complete the course. However, you will need access to a PC/laptop and suitable Wi-Fi to access teaching and learning.

*Most students over the age of 19 will be able to study these courses for free, however, please contact us if you’re aged 19-23 and do not yet have a full Level 2 qualification (five GCSEs grade 9-4/A*-C, NVQ Level 2 or higher) as additional eligibility criteria may apply.
