Cookery School: A Culinary Tour of Rome
Join our Head Chef Gio Achenza for a culinary tour of the Italian capital.
During this one-day cooking class, Gio will guide you through the process of recreating favourite Italian dishes with a Roman twist. Following demonstrations from Gio, you will work in our training kitchen to prepare a primo (pasta dish) a secondo (main course) and a dolce (dessert). Gio will give hints and tips on how to recreate the perfect dish at home while also discussing the Roman gastronomy and its place in Italian culinary culture.
During the day you will be able to enjoy your Italian delicacies as lunch will be provided in Ashfields restaurant. All other items produced can be taken home for you to enjoy or share.
Any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances can be accommodated within the menu for the day. Please contact Gio directly at gachenza@yorkcollege.ac.uk to discuss any specific requirements.
