Cookery School: Beyond Meat Plant-Based Entertaining
Over this one-day course, our Head Chef, Gio Achenza, will teach students to prepare a plant-based feast fit to impress friends and family. Whether you are vegetarian, vegan or just looking for ways to spice up your plant-based cooking for friends and family, this course is for you.
Over the course of the day, Gio will expand your plant-based repertoire with dishes to liven up your mealtimes and impress friends and family. No prior cookery experience is needed to join this class, so if you’re in a mealtime rut or unsure how to cook for friends and family that follow a plant-based diet, Gio is here to help with tips and guidance on how to whip up a feast free of animal products.
During the day, you will be able to enjoy some of what you produce as lunch will be provided in Ashfields restaurant. All other items produced can be taken home for you to enjoy or share.
Any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances can be accommodated within the menu for the day. Please contact Gio directly at gachenza@yorkcollege.ac.uk to discuss any specific requirements.
